Summary of Greater Noida Development NewsConnectivity to Jewar Airport: 15 electric buses will run on 4 routes connecting Greater Noida and Greater Noida West to the Noida International Airport. The Greater Noida Authority will spend ₹1.80 crore for its initial 6-month operation.Massive Budget Approval: For the financial year 2026-27, a total budget of ₹6,048 crore has been approved. Out of this, ₹2,176 crore is dedicated to development projects and ₹1,150 crore for land acquisition.No Hike in Water Rates: There will be no increase in water tariffs this year, benefiting over 59,000 allottees.One-Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme: To recover pending dues, the authority has launched an OTS scheme. Residents can get up to 40%discount on interest if they pay by June 30th.Honor for Farmers: Farmers who gave land for the airport might be invited for the inaugural flight. Also, work on the Shahberi power substation is being fast-tracked to improve electricity supply.
